Choose who can join

Every circle is public or private, and either kind can ask for a join code.

• Public: anyone can find and join, and everything is visible to everyone.
• Private: anyone can find it, but people must request to join, and only members see what’s inside.
• Join code: a 4-digit code people enter to send a request. The code doesn’t let them in on its own. You still approve them.

1. Open your circle and tap the gear to open Settings.
2. Under Access & Privacy, choose Public or Private, and turn Require a join code on or off.
3. Tap Save.
