Chat is where your conversations live: one-on-ones, group chats with friends, and chats with brands.

Chats and lines

A chat is any conversation outside a circle. A line is a channel inside a circle, and you’ll find it in that circle. See Circles.

The Chat tab

Your chats are sorted into All, Brands, Groups and Friends. Friends are people you follow who follow you back.

Message requests

A chat from someone who doesn’t follow you waits in Message Requests until you accept it. See Message requests.

More than messages

In a chat or a line you can reply in threads, react, @mention people, and drop in polls, signups, tables, photos and files.
