Mute or leave a chat

Quiet a busy chat without leaving it, or leave for good.

Turn off notifications

  1. On the Chat tab, press and hold the chat and tap Notifications.
  2. Turn off Push Notifications and tap Done.

Leave

  1. In the chat, tap ••• at the top right.
  2. Tap Leave Conversation (or Leave Group Chat) and confirm.
Leaving removes the chat’s messages from your account. Lines inside a circle can also be archived or deleted by the circle’s owners and admins.
